Just Because…”

We wanted to create more effortless love in our life and I had the simple idea that when you give love it is generated automatically. So on December 24th, 2007 we went out and bought 100 tulips, wrapped them individually and placed the Angel note upon them . We knew everyone was running around frantically tried to buy last minute Christmas gifts, so we hit the parking lot of a shopping mall. Sita was so sweet stopping people and placing them on random cars. There is one gentleman that stands out in my mind… he was driving a HUGE tuff truck and when Sita looked up as he was sitting in his extra tall manly 4 by4, standing on her tippy toes, reaching up to give him the gift of a flower… he melted, simply melted and said thank-you many many times. We next went to then the local Hospital. We started by placing a flower on the car windows of the physicianscars and stopping anyone we passed on their way inside. We were lucky enough to give a gift to someone who was in a wheelchair who asked “how did the angel know I needed some love…” I just responded with a nod and a smile. Then we met Jerry, the volenteer at the front desk. We were asking him what direction to go in order for the Angel Run to be effective in the Hospital. He said “follow me dear… do you know the history of Angels?” and while he walked us back, he proceeded to share the most beautiful story about angels I have ever heard. Next stop, Sunrise Assisted Living facility. This by far is Sita’s favorite place for My Angel Run. We have been touched by many beautiful souls who are so very grateful to have a little extra love randomly come into their lives. We are now known at our local Hospital and Assisted living facilities as… The Angel Run. We are a growing charity and with your help we can continue to flourish. We have extended our services to other city Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Orphanages, and random businesses and just anyone on the street. Do you know someone who needs a little extra love?
